Keeping data safe is a top priority for us at Kefron, as well as for our clients. We make sure to use the best systems and follow strict rules to ensure top-level security. We also earn certifications to show we are serious about keeping data safe.

We’re excited to share that we have achieved the Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This shows we are committed to the highest standards in keeping your information secure.

What is Cyber Essentials Plus?

Supported by the UK Government, Cyber Essentials Plus is a well-respected standard for companies looking to protect themselves from common cyber threats like phishing attacks.

To get this certification, Kefron has shown that we have strong security measures in place, such as:

  • Regularly updating our hardware and software to fix any security issues
  • Taking steps to make sure downloaded files or email attachments don’t automatically open
  • Blocking certain risky file types from being sent over email
  • Using strong access codes on all our company mobile devices

As part of the process, experts have also tested our security systems to make sure they are solid.

Why This Matters

By earning this certification, Kefron stands out as a leader in cybersecurity. This certification is more than just a checklist; it involves a thorough review by independent experts. This means you can trust that we are taking the best care of your data.

“The Cyber Essentials Plus certification is a fantastic achievement for our company. It demonstrates our commitment to protecting our customers’ data and will give our customers peace of mind that our IT security procedures and systems can be relied upon. A lot of work and preparation goes on behind the scenes by the IT Team every day to maintain this level of compliance.”
Colm Hefferon, Head of Shared Services, Kefron
